Odyssey has a feature called 'Tags' to better organize Media resources. Multiple tags can be added to any media resource, which allows a user to narrow down which media resources are needed as part of workflows.

Adding/Editing Tags

To add or edit tags to a 'Media' resource:

• Select 'Printshop'
• Select 'My Resources'
• Select the 'Media' resource group
• Select 'edit' next to a Media resource
• Enter a tag(s) under 'Tags'
  • This can be any word or words that will help a user identify and narrow down when this particular media resource will be used, such as 'Business Cards' or 'Flyers'
• Select 'Save Resource' after any other edits to the resource are performed

Using Tags in Product Workflows

For a media resource that has tags added, let's show how tags are useful within Product workflows.

• Select 'Printshop'
• Select 'My Products'
• Choose a product workflow that will have 'Media' resources as one of the resources of the workflow
• Select a process that contains a 'Media' input
  • An example may be 'Cut Parent to Run Size'
• Select the Media 'Resource' button
• Place the cursor in the blank box to the left of 'Pick one'
  • A list of tags will be shown
• Select one of more tags from the drop-down
• Select 'ok'
  • In the drop-down under 'Pick one', any media that has the tag selected from the box above 'Pick one' will be shown
• Select one or more Media resources from the 'Pick one' drop-down

Refer to the example below of choosing a 'Tag' from the 1st box, which then narrows down the selection in the 'Pick one' box.

Step 2: The 'Pick one' drop-down is narrowed down to only those Media resources with the tag(s) selected from the left box

Using Tags in Job Workflows

For a media resource that has tags added, let's show how tags are useful within Job workflows.

• Select 'Jobs'
• Select 'Pending'
• Select a workflow for a pending job
• Select the Input Media 'Resource' drop-down arrow
• Place the cursor in the box under 'Tag'
  • A list of tags will be presented
• Select one of more tags from the drop-down
• Select 'ok'
  • In the drop-down under 'Pick one', any media that has the tag selected from the box above 'Pick one' will be shown
• Select one or more Media resources from the 'Pick one' drop-down
